God's Encouragement
You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
*Psalm 16:11 NASB
Inspiration
If someone offered you a hundred-dollar bill, would you take it?
What if that person wadded up the bill and threw it on the ground—would you still want it?
What if he stepped on it, kicked it, and even spit on it? Could you still go to the store and spend it? The answer is yes.
That bill has value because of what it is, not because of how it looks, where it’s been, or what it has been used for. A crisp, clean hundred-dollar bill is worth the same amount as an ugly, old, abused one.
You may feel like you’ve been stepped on, beat up, or kicked around. You may feel dirty, unworthy, or useless. But be encouraged by the hundred-dollar bill—no matter what you’ve been through, you still have value to God!

Ministry Highlight
As you have probably noticed, I try to share unique and fresh perspectives on ministry. So far, I’ve shared about the lives of people I directly support. But today, I wanted to share a unique ministry that I suspect not many of you have heard of.
The ministry is called The Mission Ball.
Launched in August 2009, The Mission Ball is simply a soccer ball covered with Biblical text. The Mission Ball uses the world’s most popular sport, soccer, as a means of connecting with poor youth in countries where the youth have very little access to play and sports equipment like soccer balls.
The ministry was started by Torrey Babb. In 2008. Torrey was burdened by the lack of evangelism he observed on many mission trips. Babb explained, “I had built houses, fixed houses, provided basic essentials, and given away material goods, but I was left feeling that if all I’d done was make their journey to hell more comfortable, I had failed at The Great Commission.”
The Mission Ball helps draw crowds of young people. When you have a soccer ball, it usually draws a crowd, invites curiosity, and creates opportunities to proclaim Christ and the Gospel.
After a trip to South Africa, one person enthusiastically commented, “I could sit in the park all day with my Bible, and not a single person would approach me, but the moment I brought The Mission Ball out of my bag, I couldn’t keep people away. It was like ringing a bell at dinner time.”
What started as a simple prayer to equip everyday people with the ability and confidence to share their faith has now grown into an international organization with endorsements from some of the largest Christian ministries around.
The Mission Ball is now available in 38 different languages and 2 different sports, and over 100,000 have been used in 91 countries around the world to proclaim the good news of Grace Alone, through Faith Alone, in Christ Alone.
Our compassionate God, who sees all things, is surely bringing light and salvation to the world. May His name be praised!
Quote of the Day
God did not create us out of need. He created us out of His love.
